[Bug 1587991] [NEW] Installation says I don't have enough disk space, then claims I do.
Public bug reported: The installation process says: "You need at least 8.6 GB disk space to install Ubuntu MATE. This computer has only 8.6 GB." [Bug 1041790] Re: [snb] GPU lockup IPEHR: 0x0b160001 IPEHR: 0x0b140001, workaround i915.semaphores=0
I can reproduce this problem fairly regularly on a certain game inside wine (and nowhere else) on my up-to-date Debian Sid box. If there's any solution/patch to test and there's any benefit in testing it on a non- Ubuntu system, I volunteer to help. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1041790 Title: [snb] GPU lockup IPEHR: 0x0b160001 IPEHR: 0x0b140001, workaround i915.semaphores=0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1041790/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 799505] Re: GTK3 says Couldn't recognize the image file format for file for SVG files
Reinstallation of the relevant package (`apt-get install --reinstall libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0` or `aptitude reinstall libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0`) also helps. I'm noting that because almost two years later I've got bitten by this problem on my Debian SID installation after a system upgrade—there seems to be something that makes this cache misgenerated during upgrades. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/799505 Title: GTK3 says Couldn't recognize the image file format for file for SVG files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-themes-standard/+bug/799505/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 966744] Re: resume from suspend leaves me with black screen and a cursor
Same effect on Thinkpad X61s (Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100). Blank black screen with just mouse pointer visible after closing and opening the lid back (no suspend necessary), happens maybe once in 20 times. Input works—i can move mouse pointer, also cursor changes when over a text field (or I guess it's a text field, it's in the middle of screen, where a password dialog should be). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/966744 Title: resume from suspend leaves me with black screen and a cursor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/966744/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 466389] Re: totem hangs when try to play DVD
I was asked by Onkar Shinde at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdvdnav/+bug/512576 to comment on this bug. I had problems with playing menu tracks on DVD. Updating libdvdnav to -proposed fixed that to me, and now all DVDs work for me. However, I don't have any DVDs without menu track, so I cannot check this case. -- totem hangs when try to play DVD https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/466389 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 512576] [NEW] Totem does not play full unscrambled dvd
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem Ubuntu karmic, fully upgraded. I have a set of commercial DVDs (Ghost in the Shell, polish edition) (all of them are reported as unscrambled, or not encrypted, by libdvdcss2, which I do have installed). When I try to watch them in totem (either by choosing totem in the dialog window which shows up just after the cd is inserted, or by calling `totem dvd://`), totem starts up but does not show anything. The application does not hang or crash -- simply nothing is played, the video is blank, I cannot press play button and the video properties are blank. The same set of DVDs do work (as in: can be played) when I launch totem by `totem dvd://2` (or any other valid title number)... as long as the title chosen is not 1 or the title with menu (this varies in different DVDs). So: `totem dvd://1` does not work, `totem dvd://2` works, ... `totem dvd://10` works, `totem dvd://11` does not work (and it contains the main menu). For numbers which work the video properties pane shows all the data correctly. Xine from `xine-ui` package plays them correctly and shows the animated menu... but I cannot manipulate it (its DVD menu controls does not work). mplayer does play all the DVDs too, again I could not manipulate the menu there (even with `-dvdnav` option). I would provide a backtrace, but none of the programs crash... so I think it wouldn't do much. I'm filling this to totem because it doesn't even show the menu. The funny thing is, that totem used to work correctly before an upgrade somewhere during last Christmas; if someone points me to an archive with older karmic packages, I'd test them. [Bug 433447] [NEW] xmoto switches screen mode to one which cannot be displayed by monitor
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xmoto When starting up, xmoto goes fullscreen and tries to change screen mode.
