[Bug 907200] [NEW] KMail 4.7.3 fails to open any old email or to download new
Public bug reported: I think there was a large-ish KDE update yesterday (or close). After that KMail fails to open any old email or to download new. It is just sitting in: " Retrieving Folder Contents Please wait . . . " Downloading new email from POP3 starts normally but at the end it fails to save downloaded email. ** Affects: kdepim (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/907200 Title: KMail 4.7.3 fails to open any old email or to download new To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdepim/+bug/907200/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 682102] Re: Brasero says "Not enough space available on the disc" even when data to be burned is well within the limits and Gnome-Baker burns the DVD all right.
I was desperate so even tried a reboot (and power cycle) but the problem persists. What is so puzzling is that it managed to record three DVDs initially. With first one I had slow burning speed issue which I resolved by fiddling with wodim and growisofs plugins priority as documented on the web (took me some time until I found there are two parallel configuration systems). Next two it recorded flawlessly so why all the sudden this space issue? I then installed k3b which works just fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/682102 Title: Brasero says "Not enough space available on the disc" even when data to be burned is well within the limits and Gnome-Baker burns the DVD all right. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 541023] [NEW] insserv does not work when rsync or winbind are installed
Public bug reported: Lucid Alpha 3 (updated to latest today). When rsync or winbind are installed insserv fails to process any init scripts. [Bug 234720] Re: wrong UUID in menu.lst after upgrade to hardy
I had the same problem with an additional twist. My /etc/blkid.tab also contained the old UUID's so I either a) deleted it and it got regenerated, or b) edited it to contain correct ones (don't actually remember). But it is not important, important is that I now just updated to 2.6.24-18 and installed package maintainers menu.lst and there are still wrong UUID's there. I don't know from where does it get those.. they are nowhere to be found in /etc any more so it is a mystery to me. Hm.. and I also migrated 7.10 to a new disk without reinstalling and then upgraded to 8.04 before all this happened. -- wrong UUID in menu.lst after upgrade to hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/234720 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

It's the same for me with the latest updates. I am attaching two new screenshots. First one is when I open the URL directly, and the second one when I get to in steps. Only the first page I visit is then secured with SSL. There are no error messages in the konsole from where I started konqueror. When submitting this bug report initially launchpad.net gave me an error when I tried to submit it which I suspected might be related with the SSL problem. I'll try removing ~/.kde ie. trying with a clean user because my $HOME is inherited from 7.04 later today. ** Attachment added: "konq3.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10048242/konq3.png -- HTTPS not working with Konqueror 3.5.8 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152449 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
