[Bug 654676] [NEW] Missing Build-Depends: libfftw3-dev
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: imagemagick In maverick, the imagemagick source package misses libfftw3-dev as a Build-Depends. As a result of this, the installed binary package comes without FFT support. It seems libfftw3 is in main, so I do not see any reason why imagemagick shouldn't depend on it. ** Affects: imagemagick (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Missing Build-Depends: libfftw3-dev https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/654676 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 415667] Re: libx11-data: compose ellipsis problem
I have the same problem in karmic. However, the bug doesn't happen when one selects "X Input Method" as input method (you can change it by right-clicking on a textbox and choose from the "Input Methods" submenu). By default, karmic (and probably jaunty too) uses IBus. As a workaround, you can add "export GTK_IM_MODULE=xim" to /etc/environment. The drawback is that I face another bug using XIM in gedit: whenever I use a hotkey (for example Alt+... to access menus), the Compose key completely stops working afterwards. To make it work again, I have to reselect XIM from the input methods menu. -- libx11-data: compose ellipsis problem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/415667 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 204413] Re: nautilus memory leak
I have a similar problem. After some normal use, nautilus eats up 300MB RAM, with the only remedy being restarting nautilus. [Bug 191292] Re: openoffice.org Accented displayed incorrectly
Same problem here in oocalc. The displayed characters are sometimes wrong, but when clicking on the cell, the content shown in the toolbar is correct. Restarting OpenOffice sometimes solve the problem with some characters (but not always all of them). This bug also shows up in the development version of OpenOffice 3 (tested with ooo-dev300 m21). I downloaded this one directly from the official site, so it seems the problem is either upstream or located in another library (pango?, although unlikely, as we would have seen the bug elsewhere too). As for the video driver, I use proprietary nvidia, but I really don't think it's related. The bug also appears when opening a single document. And last but not least, I've experienced the bug on both 32 and 64 bits versions of ubuntu. I've read somewhere about setting the LANG environment variable to "en_US.UTF-8", but that doesn't help. Oh, btw, OpenOffice isn't able to find any JRE, although I have sun- java6 and sun-java5 installed. When trying to add the path manually, it complains about the directory not holding any JRE.
