[Bug 797544] Re: grub2 waits forever for keystroke before booting default OS. headless server. hang.

2014-06-29 Thread Zta77
14.04 hangs and waits for key stroke. A headless server is not supposed
to do that!

[Bug 1303086] Re: Pointer Speed Missing in Unity Settings for Mouse Trackpad

2014-05-05 Thread Zta77
I need the pointer speed and pointer acceleration settings too.

(It's a bit scary how such functionality can disappear without anyone
taking notice (or reacting to bug reports). Who knows what else, more
critical features, have been removed?)

[Bug 837196] Re: Cannot change bluetooth name

2014-05-05 Thread Zta77
Of course it should be possible to change. IF a default should be
chosen, it should be $HOSTNAME.

The bug still lives in 14.04.

[Bug 1293246] Re: UnBatang font shows certain glyphs in bolder

2014-04-02 Thread Zta77
Ah, sorry about that. I did specify fonts-unfonts-core to begin with
but at some point it got changed back to nss-mdns, not quite sure why.

[Bug 1293246] [NEW] UnBatang font shows certain glyphs in bolder

2014-03-16 Thread Zta77
Public bug reported:

The UnBatang font shows certain glyphs in a slightly bolder typeface
than it should for accented and special regional characters.

See attachment.

Please fix as this is a really nice font =)

[Bug 94940] Re: mdns listed in nsswitch.conf causes excessive time for dns lookups

2014-03-16 Thread Zta77
Still a problem in 13.10 as far as I can tell. Fix #75 helped.

According to this log, a fix was released nearly a year ago, but still
people keep finding the bug. How does this Launchpad work again?

[Bug 1287817] [NEW] Nautilus Extra Pane divider invisible

2014-03-04 Thread Zta77
Public bug reported:

In Nautilus, when opening the Extra Pane (with F3) and using List View
in both panes, there is a visible gray vertical divider down between the
two while views.

When using Icon View or Compact View in both panes (in any combination),
the views' background change to the same grey colour as the divider, and
the divider becomes invisible. The divider is still there and works as
intended, but one has to hover the mouse around and wait for the pointer
to change in order to find it. The invisible divider can make it
difficult to see whether two panes are shown or just one. See
screenshot.

I'm not sure how to fix this. One easy fix is to use a white background
for Icon View and Compact View similar to that of the List View; this
would make the grey divider reveal itself. However the grey background
is rather nice =)

[Bug 674138] Re: Global appmenu breaks sloppy focus

2013-10-24 Thread Zta77
Could someone please implement the dwell solution and let it be
experimental, e.g. let the option be enabled by set
UNITY_MOUSE_FOCUS_DWELL=1 or similar? At least that would be a starting
point for some experience and feedback.
