[Bug 1024475] Re: libnss-ldap causes boot hang on 12.04 precise, 14.04 trusty, 16.04 xenial
In 16.04.1, replacing libnss-ldap with libnss-ldapd worked to get the machine to boot, and show me my ldap users at login screen, but when I go to log in, it just cycles back to login immediately. [Bug 1212714] [NEW] audacity causes audio to fail on client until reboot
Public bug reported: This bug affects Linux Mint 15 and Ubuntu 13.04. Upon loading, the client can play audio through vlc, totem, etc. If two audio programs try to play audio at the same time, it crashes the sound for the client until the thin client is rebooted ( the issue is not fixed upon a logout/login). After much talking on #ltsp and #pulseaudio, seeing that debian suffered a similar issue, here is the fix. https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ltsp-upstream/ltsp/ltsp- trunk/revision/2483/client/initscripts/ltsp-init-common This needs to be applied to the ubuntu branch as well.
