[Bug 202743] Re: Libsane-extras removes /dev/disk directory
I really think this should be sorted properly. It seems like it would be fixable with a simple check. It causes all kinds of problems. Fixing it solved the following problems for me: -Can not login via gdm. -Cannot load firmware for ipw2200 -Mouse not working -Cannot login via tty2 -Cannot use ssh -Cannot use sudo -No sound due to sound driver problems -- Libsane-extras removes /dev/disk directory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/202743 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 75894] Re: [GPL GS WORKS] evince (gs-esp) memory leak opening .eps files
Hi, everybody. Confirming bug. gs-esp will consume all memory when attempting to open the attached postscript file. It's a latex generated file, don't remember the details on how it was generated. The file is many years old and I've never had problems opening it on lots of systems. gs-gpl solves the problem. ** Attachment added: "bad.ps.gz" http://librarian.launchpad.net/7436193/bad.ps.gz -- [GPL GS WORKS] evince (gs-esp) memory leak opening .eps files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/75894 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 92296] Re: [Feisty] Low quality of text rendering in Evince
There is a patch floating around at bugs.freedesktop.org. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5589 I tried it and it seems to work, though I haven't tested extensively. Still I urge you to consider including it in feisty since without it basically documents with bitmapped fonts (such as the above) is basically unreadable. -- [Feisty] Low quality of text rendering in Evince https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92296 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
