With Artful 17.10 Wayland, any app of LibreOffice opens with a small window. 
Previously, it opened with a "common size" or the size you used previously (see

If it was opened with a full screen window the previous time, it opens in 
full-screen mode. If you check the "windows size" button, you may get a more 
smaller window with only the menu of LibreOffice.

Will not come back after screen lock.
The main VAIO laptop lid monitor does not come back, stays dark, no backlight.
I have a second HDMI monitor.
The HDMI monitor will come back from screen lock, but scrambled.
Mouse does not appear.
I have also tried suckless.org slock with same result.
Closing and opening the lid does not help.
I also hear the laptop fan come on when trying to restore which indicates CPU 
is probably running away.
No keyboard sequence seems to work, though I have not tested this exhaustively.
All that works is a 5-second powerdown button press with restart.

I'm facing the same problem. In auto-mode the VPN does not manage to
connect, while manual connecting to the wifi enables automatic
connection on the VPN.

I am currently testing out Ubuntu 17.10 and I noticed that Deja Dup
(version 36.1-0ubuntu1) no longer supports S3 backups. I have already
installed the packages python-boto python-cloudfiles but the "Amazon S3"
option is missing from the Storage location tab.

Using dconfig editor, I can see the S3 records created under /org/gnome
/deja-dup/s3. The same installation works fine on Ubuntu 16.04. Any
thoughts?

Not all executables have all lower case names.  Some software authors
prefer to give their executables the same mixed case name as the
"project name", Xorg as in /usr/bin/Xorg perhaps being the most used
binary with an uppercase name.

The name of the executable is "AtomicParsley" not "atomicparsley".

Perhaps the package installation script could create a convenience
symbolic link from the mixed case executable file to an all lower case
format could be provided to avoid unecessary trauma for those who expect
the executable to be all lower case?  However it should be noted that
other software which uses AtomicParsley eg "get_iplayer" correctly uses
the mixed case named binary.

Using 17.10 daily. Installed Dash To Dock to test settings compatibility
etc... Finished testing. Uninstalled Dash To Dock. Expected Ubuntu Dock
to reappear. It did not, even after a shell restart and log out/in. I
was able to get it back by reinstalling and disabling Dash To Dock.
Ubuntu Dock folder still exists in the system extension folder, but it's
desktop appearance seems now permanently dependent on Dash To Dock's
installation.
