[Bug 234202] Re: Hibernate under Hardy make bluetooth services unvailable when wakeup

2008-06-13 Thread killerfrog
Hi again,

Here are 2 things I discovered since :

1. If I desactivate bluetooth before hibernate (Fn + F2), then
hibernate, resume and restart bluetooth (Fn + F2), it works.

2. If I hibernate (bluetooth still on), then resume, hit "sudo
/etc/init.d/bluetooth restart", then try to connect mouse, I receive
this error :

"Impossible to display " obex://XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX/ ". where
XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX is the adress of my bluetooth mouse.

Am I the only one having this bug ?!

Hi,

This is absolutely not critical, but that's a bug.

In Ubuntu 8.04 i386, if you activate the mouse pointer to splash when

alt + L for making the screensaver to run.

Very easy to reproduce

[Bug 30124] Re: Suspend/Hibernate do not function on Dell Inspiron 9300

2008-04-15 Thread killerfrog
Suspend and hybernate have been a recurent problem under ubuntu since I
use it (2 years) for Inspiron 9400. I think, and I'm sad to say, this is
absolutely not one of the first concerns of kernel developpers. I just
hope it will eventually works as it is a major bug and it's hard to
convince people to switch to linux when such a "simple" function doesn't
work at all.

ya exactly.

"Diaporama it" would mean (probably a bad translation from my French
