[Bug 1064394] Re: User already logged in error message sometimes, after login fails
This bug affects me since I upgraded to Quantal. I am using Xubuntu, with gdm 3.6.1 (64bits version). It happens each time I previously entered a wrong password or I pressed the "Cancel" button . I know that, but if I upgrade the kernel, my nVidia graphic will not run but in low graphic resolution mode. [Bug 474917] Re: nvidia drivers 185.xx compile into kernel 2.6.28 instead of 2.6.31 on update from jaunty to karmic
My graphic card requires the nvidia-96 driver and seems to the same trouble, even after upgrade to the latest 2.6.31-17 kernel. The only workaround I found to be able to run in high resolution is to run the "old" 2.6.28 kernel, but then, ALSA sound package is no longer working, so the issue to choose between sound and low-resolution graphic mode or no sound and high resolution graphic mode : is that a choice ? -- nvidia drivers 185.xx compile into kernel 2.6.28 instead of 2.6.31 on update from jaunty to karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/474917 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 407180] Re: Firefox 3.5 needs language packs
Status changed to wishlist ??? Do you mean not being able to use the package in your native language is just a wish ? Remember Most people around the world do not speak English ! Just 2 points : - Mozilla delivers Firefox 3.5 with localization, so why not with Ubuntu 9.04, why Jaunty users should wait for Karmic release to get their local language ? - there is a work around provided in Bug #370863, why it is not suggested here, as #370863 is said to be a duplicated of this one ? -- Firefox 3.5 needs language packs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/407180 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 407180] [NEW] no local language in shiretoko
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox I installed ubuntu 9.04 in French on my computer. When i wanted to upgrade firefox to 3.5 version, using Synaptic, the only version I've able to install is a US-only version, on which it is impossible to install any localized language pack (ie langpackXX.xpi file).
