[Bug 1603776] Re: automysqlbackup requires postfix as depency
I realize that this is a really old post, but I see a status confirmed, but no further action. The "bug" still persists though, since I am testing an install script and figured I must have done something wrong, because the installing of AutoMySQLBackup also installed Postfix. But apparently this is a "feature"? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1603776 Title: automysqlbackup requires postfix as depency To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/automysqlbackup/+bug/1603776/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1079440] Re: i945: Random complete freeze using dual monitors
For me nothing worked. I tried many kernel, even the newest and made unity and compiz update per ppa and a dist-upgrade to 13.04. Always the same effect. Freezen System after a few minute or some mouse-Clicks. There is absolutly no indication in dmesg, kernel.log, syslog or Xorg.log. There is no Input between the time of beginning freeze system and the reboot . Now I'm back to 12.04, because it is working fine with multiple monitor. It' a pity! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1079440 Title: i945: Random complete freeze using dual monitors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/1079440/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1079440] Re: i945: Random complete freeze using dual monitors
Hi, I've got the same problem with asus eee x101h (intel N570 gma 3150) and I'am relative shure that the problem affected to composite. I installed on another partition bodhi linux with e17. The error ocurred there too, if I enable the composite window effects. I can run the second monitor with every other window manager without composite, but only unity is only working with composite. Why I can't disable composite and run unity2d in 12.10 anymore? And why is the importance just "medium"? For my small display it is very useful to work with unity. It is very unfortunate that. I love to work with multiple monitor. And so unity ist unusable for me. [Bug 89984] Re: NFS broken, "cant read superblock"
Ok, it looks like i have NFS back working. What have i done: Removed --purge everything that comes with NFS-Kernel-Server (included the libs). Restart the Computer. Go online with Wlan. Installing all packages new. Last a "sudo mount -a" which was faster then ever. At the moment it works like a charm. I try later to reboot and hopefully it will work then also. -- NFS broken, "cant read superblock" https://launchpad.net/bugs/89984 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I installed for testing purposes the debian portmap package 5.26. The portmap demon starts within seconds, but the problem persist. mount: 192.168.1.2:/home/thomas: can't read superblock While starting nfs trough installation (on client) it comes to an rpc time out. I think thats why the can`t read superblock error message comes up. Maybe this helps more. I can confirm this Bug also. Upgrade from Edgy (March 20, 2007). The Upgrade-process broke down during upgrade when it comes to Portmap 5.24. I had to finish trough Console. Portmap takes a very long time to start or stop. I can see a line "/var/lib/nfs/rpc_pipefs used 0%" in Superkaramba Systemmonitor, if it help. My NFS-Server is Ubuntu Edgy. My old NFS-Client on Edgy worked perfect.
