I already test 32023, 32031, and 3.6 . All of them have unuppropriate
drivers which doesn't work and after replaced drivers from realtek site,
wifi adapter works OK. So I think, that additional testing is useless,
just I can suggest to reploace existed in kernel drivers to new one.

And I check now, that debian 6 0.5 which working on same PC's quickly
enough, has kernel older, than you mean. It has 2.6.32-5-686.

Are you have any other
idea why can slowly work?

Possible video driver not fit?

These could be the cause of your problem. So, since the kernel you're

These could be the cause of your problem. So, since the kernel you're
using is quite old now, and a lot of changes have been done to your
network device driver since kernel 3.2.0-23.36 (this kernel has been
released in April!), I would suggest an upgrade. Something like:

   $ sudo apt-get update
   $ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Changes for the versions:
Installed version: 3.2.0.31.34
Available version: 3.2.0.32.35

Version 3.2.0.32.35: I cannot install this one, because it says that is
from untrusted source.
but it s updated from the version you are mean

since kernel 3.2.0-23.36

but same slowly work. foR EXAMPLE window reply at thunderbird open

[Bug 1065996] [NEW] wifi connection is loose after update

2012-10-12 Thread win22
Public bug reported:

I update from 3.2.0-23-generic
 to 3.2.0-31-generic.

Originally kernel drivers in -23 for rtl8192 wifi USB doesn't works,
and I install new one from realtek site. And it works and internet
connection can still over few days.

after update to 31 new kernel possible remove drivers, so I reinstalled
them new one. And now it works some time, then, after 30-50 minutes
connection is loose, but icon on tray shows, that connection
established. But noone site unavailiable, and cannot update any program.

Resolving this problem by plugging and unplugging wi-Fi USB adapter,
and sometimes it not works, so I use sudo reboot command.

I already few times has loosing connection while 4 hours.

I try to update now.
But I think that it's will not help. Because I saw that works slowly than
debian and Windows even at Ubuntu 9.10.

I try to download Firefox browser about 1 minute, thunderbird after firefox

Suggest me please installation new kernel procedure steps.

can i apt-get install for this one?
and which kernel number are you advice to test?

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer

Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-
upstream-testing' tag. Please only remove that one tag and leave the
other tags. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next
to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot,
 please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as
 Confirmed.

[Bug 1057388] [NEW] system works too slowly

2012-09-27 Thread win22
Public bug reported:

the system works slowly, in spite of it's xubuntu. for example, internet
browser load about 2-3 minutes, and video dvd just stop picture on the
first frame, while play cursor is moving, heroes voices are played, and
if audio cd played, and another application started, it becomes paused
1-2 second, then continued, then paused, until another app is full
loaded.

This pc works on Windows XP, and debian etch and works without such a
problem.

It seems to me that some driver not in kernel, so it use unappropriate driver
or generic?.

REsume :

i use vlc and expect to see movie
instead it start plying and remain on the first frame while audio stream is

[Bug 1057411] [NEW] driver usb wifi card RTL8188CUS (realtec) is unappropriate.

2012-09-27 Thread win22
Public bug reported:

when installing ubuntu process, it cannot find usb adapter rtl8188cus,
and cannot find dhcp, and cannot establish internet connection.

after installation ubuntu,
it works and try to find network, but cannot connected with it.

result:
I blacklist it and install driver for this card manually from realtec site,
and it works now.
I expect, that you exchange existing driver in kernel to driver from realtec
site, so, that connection will be established on installation stage .

detailed decision is here

[Bug 200694] [NEW] Keyboard led don't light when layout swithing

2008-03-10 Thread win22
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: yelp

Кeyboard led don't light, when I switch alternative layout.

I put checks it by ctrl+shift pressed and capslock led must be on.

swithing works, but led doesn't light on.

In previous version 2.6.24.8 it works and lights.

And no ikon on screen to see, which keyboard layout now.

Here is ikon on top screen, but it not indicated flowing layout, but I
kab it change by muse clicking only.

I don't know - is it bug or not, but be useful if led will light when
change layout, and ikon must be changed as manually (like now) and by
press shortkuts on keyboard (as it is in Windows XP)!

[Bug 157131] Re: system works speed is extremely low

2007-12-17 Thread win22
I find new about this bug
when I launch applications from xterminal or from Gnom in safe mode,
applications works quickly.
Even faster, than in Windows XP.
It works very slow when gnom in normal mode.
In P-3 mashine it almost suspend, and in pentium -m mashine with 2 mb ram gnom
works itself, but 3-d games as warzone 2100 move very slowly, and TORKS (race
simulator) even dont start, when it start launches, it reload Gnome
avtomatically!

Can somebody to say, which actions I can made and what to do, can i
change something in config or so on?

[Bug 174621] system works very slowly

2007-12-07 Thread win22
Public bug reported:

ubunty 7.10 I can install (installation was very slowly - few hours),
after installation it does work, same very slowly (just to open
directory it takes 5-6 minutes) with gnom installed. Ty to change it to
KDE- the same..

It's a toshiba portege 7200, p-3 700MHz ram 328MB.

Don't uderstand the reason, but hardware must be excluded,

I try debian(knoppix CD) and windows XP on this notebook, they are works
correct, and quickly.

Is't possible, that some drivers in GUTSY 7.10 don't properly configured to my
mashine?
