[Bug 1066028] [NEW] system works too slow
Public bug reported: even slowly then Windows and debian on the same PC. Last time I send bug report and somebody suggest me to update to new kernel, so now I updated to 3.20.-31 but same slow work. Can it be because of video card is defined in system like VESA, not OEM SAVAGE s3? of coarse, I can. Suggest me please installation new kernel procedure steps. can i apt-get install for this one? and which kernel number are you advice to test? [Bug 1057388] [NEW] system works too slowly
Public bug reported: the system works slowly, in spite of it's xubuntu. for example, internet browser load about 2-3 minutes, and video dvd just stop picture on the first frame, while play cursor is moving, heroes voices are played, and if audio cd played, and another application started, it becomes paused 1-2 second, then continued, then paused, until another app is full loaded. This pc works on Windows XP, and debian etch and works without such a problem. It seems to me that some driver not in kernel, so it use unappropriate driver or generic?. m@ubuntu:~$ lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS Release:12.04 lm@ubuntu:~$ m@ubuntu:~$ apt-cache policy pkgname N: Unable to locate package pkgname lm@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-cache policy pkgname [sudo] password for lm: N: Unable to locate package pkgname lm@ubuntu:~$ REsume : all applications works t slowly. i use vlc and expect to see movie instead it start plying and remain on the first frame while audio stream is running. ** Affects: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1057388 Title: system works too slowly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-docs/+bug/1057388/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1057411] [NEW] driver usb wifi card RTL8188CUS (realtec) is unappropriate.
Public bug reported: when installing ubuntu process, it cannot find usb adapter rtl8188cus, and cannot find dhcp, and cannot establish internet connection. after installation ubuntu, it works and try to find network, but cannot connected with it. result: I blacklist it and install driver for this card manually from realtec site, and it works now. [Bug 200694] [NEW] Keyboard led don't light when layout swithing
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: yelp Кeyboard led don't light, when I switch alternative layout. I put checks it by ctrl+shift pressed and capslock led must be on. swithing works, but led doesn't light on. In previous version 2.6.24.8 it works and lights. And no ikon on screen to see, which keyboard layout now. Here is ikon on top screen, but it not indicated flowing layout, but I kab it change by muse clicking only. I don't know - is it bug or not, but be useful if led will light when change layout, and ikon must be changed as manually (like now) and by press shortkuts on keyboard (as it is in Windows XP)! [Bug 157131] Re: system works speed is extremely low
I find new about this bug when I launch applications from xterminal or from Gnom in safe mode, applications works quickly. Even faster, than in Windows XP. It works very slow when gnom in normal mode. In P-3 mashine it almost suspend, and in pentium -m mashine with 2 mb ram gnom works itself, but 3-d games as warzone 2100 move very slowly, and TORKS (race simulator) even dont start, when it start launches, it reload Gnome avtomatically!
