[Bug 1063992] Re: Evolution crash while opening rss feed
I too, can confirm that this is an Ubuntu-specific issue. I just booted to a Fedora Live CD, installed evolution-rss on it, and imported my feeds. Then I went through various feeds, without any issues whatsoever. On my Ubuntu 12.10 amd64 build, I can only navigate a plain-text only feed (TuxMobil), otherwise Evolution crashes. In fact, when adding feeds, it crashed as soon as it tried adding/refreshing one of my html feeds. So most of my feeds never showed up in my list. Have a great day:) Patrick. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1063992 Title: Evolution crash while opening rss feed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-rss/+bug/1063992/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1063992] Re: Evolution crash while opening rss feed
I can confirm, that on OpenSuse 12.2 works perfect. So maybe it's more to ubuntu... I also noticed big problems with enabled "always download images..." for HTML. When switching accounts from pop to EWS and vice versa, evolution becomes unresponsive... i live with no images ;) Do not know, why everybody ignores problems with evolution (googled a lot of them) - since i come from enterprise environment, i can tell it's hard for few of us survive with linux in M$ world, without proper mail/calendar/collaboration client... I hope future linux wont become only "facebook client" Regards -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1063992 Title: Evolution crash while opening rss feed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-rss/+bug/1063992/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
