[Bug 1193639] Re: randomly freeze of sysem during use a battery
I have experienced similar freezes in my acer v5 121 with Amd c70 processor. But if I keep the default kernel 3.8.0.19 with Ubuntu 13.04 , there are no freezes, when I updated to 3.8.0.25 , freezes started occurring in 5-10 minutes after boot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1193639 Title: randomly freeze of sysem during use a battery To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1193639/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1193639] Re: randomly freeze of sysem during use a battery
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v3.10 kernel[0]. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'. If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'. Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed". Thanks in advance.
