[Bug 1245322] Re: UFW blocks libvirtd default network from starting automatically in Saucy
** Description changed: + + SRU justification + + 1. Impact: libvirt may fail to start + 2. Development fix: have libvirt use -w flag to iptables to have it wait rather than fail on lock contention + 3. Stable fix: same as dev fix + 4. Regression potential: there should be none, this only passes the -w flag to iptables if it is supported. + Running KVM under Ubuntu 13.10 64 bits. + === When UFW is enabled, the default network won't start automatically when set to do so. [Bug 1245322] Re: UFW blocks libvirtd default network from starting automatically in Saucy
Hello ClaudeD, or anyone else affected, Accepted libvirt into saucy-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/1.1.1-0ubuntu8.2 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users. If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision. Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance! ** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu Saucy) Status: Triaged = Fix Committed ** Tags added: verification-needed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1245322 Title: UFW blocks libvirtd default network from starting automatically in Saucy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1245322/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Thanks for the confirmation.
