Just to clarify, you want me to install the latest upstream kernel *and* linux-firmware 1.127.22 to see if the problem still occurs or not? Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v4.6 kernel[0].
