I cannot reproduce this with 5.115. Is this still an issue? I actually noticed this while investigating another bug in breeze-icon- theme which leads to GTK apps showing icons from the bright default Breeze icon theme instead of the dark one: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=445518 The linked report represents the state I get when using Kubuntu 21.10 with Backports-PPA enabled.
