Is this bug still valid and are there still problems with this wifi card with the latest updates (November 5th 2008) and with backports repository switched on? Marking Incomplete as no further action in 9 months. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Incomplete -- T-Sinus 111card (PCMCIA) - cannot connect to wifi https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/200919 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 200919] Re: T-Sinus 111card (PCMCIA) - cannot connect to wifi
Have you tried "ifconfig wifi0 up"? I had a card managed by hostap which required this, and my current miniPCI card (ath5k) will not scan with the same message when down. -- T-Sinus 111card (PCMCIA) - cannot connect to wifi https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/200919 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

(You generally only use the wlan0 interface with hostap but reporter says that results are the same regardless) -- T-Sinus 111card (PCMCIA) - cannot connect to wifi https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/200919 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
