Just as an update: the segfault vanishes as soon as the two lines label="r" and label="p" are removed. This really seems to be a problem in graphviz itself that is most probably fixed in 2.12. I found another file (see the attached file bc_si.dot) that causes
graphviz to segfault, although I don't know if this is related to the
same bug.

What's interesting is that this file worked just great using Gentoo,
where graphviz 2.12 is the stable version. Maybe this bug was already
fixed upstream?
Thanks for any input -- I really need this file to work for my diploma
thesis... ;)

A fix would be tremendously useful for dapper-updates because it's a very important package failing on the Long Term Support release for very simple input.
