When I enter an IP address to VNC to a machine, the history list will appear and not go away. Plus the screen is jammed and I have to ctrl+alt+backspace to start over. -- terminal server client freezes after distibrution upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290713 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 290713] Re: terminal server client freezes after distibrution upgrade
I also upgraded my system from 8.04 to 8.10, and am now regretting it, since I regularly need to use tsclient. I can get this to happen every time I open a second tsclient window (connecting to vista desktops). gdm also stops responding except for mouse movements I can reset gdm via #/etc/init.d/gdm restart and then reconnect. It usually happens immediately during the connection process, and a little grey bar gets left hovering in the middle of the desktop. -- terminal server client freezes after distibrution upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290713 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 290713] Re: terminal server client freezes after distibrution upgrade
I found that it is much more stable now, but can't pinpoint the solution. I installed 8.10 from the install media (fresh start) and now use RDPv5 (which I remember worked best with 8.04 also) I can also confirm that the problem seemed worse when connecting to multiple boxes, but I only connect to XP machines. -- terminal server client freezes after distibrution upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290713 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
