Now I use Kubuntu 10.10 RC. The error comes now too, but I use the nouveau driver for now. It seems to be good enough in that version for daily work. If you can fix the error anyway thats good and I will try to help, if so. -- [Hewlett-Packard hp compaq nx9105 (PG690ET#ABD)] late resume failure [non-free: nvidia] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/495382 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 495382] Re: [Hewlett-Packard hp compaq nx9105 (PG690ET#ABD)] late resume failure [non-free: nvidia]
I just tryed suspend with 2.6.34-020634-generic. It seems that theres no effect. One time system hangs up, while it goes to sleep, two times, when it should wake up. With that kernel I had two system frezes in a few minuts, while i was normal working. I had nothing like that before (but I dont know sure why it freze totally) -- [Hewlett-Packard hp compaq nx9105 (PG690ET#ABD)] late resume failure [non-free: nvidia] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/495382 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 495382] Re: [Hewlett-Packard hp compaq nx9105 (PG690ET#ABD)] late resume failure [non-free: nvidia]
Hi Xwarman, This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ . If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report. apport-collect -p linux 495382 Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results. Thanks in advance. [This is an automated message.
