[Bug 520717] Re: Nautilus crashes/asserts/segfaults on folder containing a bad image.
I can confirm EOG crashing when opening the image but when trying to open it with ImageMagick I get the following result: $ display COLONY.PIK.tga display: Memory allocation failed `COLONY.PIK.tga' @ tga.c/ReadTGAImage/287. This is then followed by a default ImageMagick window and an error dialogue that says: improper image header '/home/bruno/Downloads' @ gif.c/ReadGIFImage/1013 (see attached screenshot) So it looks like there's something wrong with the image file. EOG should not crash though. If anybody can suggest how to debug this further, it would be much appreciated. ** Attachment added: "ImageMagickErrorScreenshot.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/39078418/ImageMagickErrorScreenshot.png ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- Nautilus crashes/asserts/segfaults on folder containing a bad image. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/520717 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
