I don't need to change the volume slider, I want to see whether I'm muted or speaking, and also have a quick way of getting back the mumble window. The latter is just a minor inconvenience, the former is very confusing if you use keys to switch between "I speak" and "muted" (as sometimes you lose track and speak while you muted and vice versa). Just for clarification. The indicator sound does expose the voip slider when mumble is active.
