[Bug 848796] Re: Ubuntu test page gives error when printing using hp
The problem you are suffering is not caused by the "No %%Bounding box: comment ...", probably you get this message also if you print successfully via the socket backend. The problem seems to be in the hp backend, making this backend not working with your printer. Use the socket backend as a workaround for the time being, by creating a second queue for printing. Do not remove the queue with the hp backend. It makes HPLIP recognizing your scanner and allows HPLIP to check your toner level. ** Package changed: cups (Ubuntu) => hplip (Ubuntu) ** Also affects: hplip Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/848796 Title: Ubuntu test page gives error when printing using hp To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/848796/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
