The problem is this breaks shell scripts and Installation programs ---
including Ubuntu's. :-)
There are enough ways that confused users can blow away their system,
such as screwing up the options to dd. Sorry, but if someone can
confuse mkfs and fsck, they have no business having root access to the
system.
