[Bug 35216] Re: ipw2200 reassociates 'randomly'
I'm experiencing a similar error with the 686 build of 2.6.15-25 on my Dell 630m with a 2915abg Intel ProWireless card. The network connection drops and the system starts to hang for a few secnds. 'dmesg' shows the following errors whenever the hang occurs: --- [17183264.172000] ipw2200: Firmware error detected. Restarting. [17183264.196000] ata2: PIO error [17183264.196000] ata2: no sense translation for error 0x20 [17183264.196000] ata2: no sense translation for status: 0x51 [17183264.196000] ata2: translated ATA stat/err 0x51/20 to SCSI SK/ASC/ASCQ 0x3/11/04 [17183264.204000] ata2: PIO error [17183264.204000] ata2: no sense translation for error 0x20 [17183264.204000] ata2: no sense translation for status: 0x51 [17183264.204000] ata2: translated ATA stat/err 0x51/20 to SCSI SK/ASC/ASCQ 0x3/11/04 --- I'd love to get this resolved.
