In a german ubuntuforum I have found the following hint, that worked for me: I have deinstalled the lightning-plugin and reinstalled it using synaptic from the ubuntu repos. Apprendo che non sono il solo ad avere avuto la sorpresa che nella versione 09 il calendario non permette di creare o modificare ne di esportare ne importare nulla. Transaltion of last comment: I understand that I am not alone in having had the surprise that in version 09 the schedule does not allow to create or modify them to export or import anything. Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Sometimes Thunderbird profiles can become corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you might want to try to disable all your extensions and re-enable them one by one until you find the problematic one.
