Lost translations for Gedit, Synaptic, File-roller and maybe even more,
in Xubuntu 12.04. What's wrong?

Pjotr, have a look at April 12th on release schedule, translation
updates possibly got a bit crumbled.

[Bug 979068] Re: GEdit lost localization

2012-04-12 Thread Sam_
** Description changed:

  Same as Synaptic bug 978738.
GEdit isn't localized since latest updates of language-packs. (screenshot)
- Same with gtk-filechooser and it's appmenu.
- e.g. Nautilus, Totem and former gnome-utils are fine.
+ Same with gtk-filechooser and it's appmenu, Nautilus context menu shows
'compress', which confirms file-roller not localized.
+ e.g. Totem and former gnome-utils are fine.

2012-04-12 Thread Sebastien Bacher
thank you for your bug report, it's a langpack replaces issue, you can
sudo apt-get --reinstall language-pack-gnome-de to workaround it or wait
for the next update
