Re: [Bug 208050] Re: devede crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast()
Hi Daniel, Sorry, it took me a bit to remember this. I don't know. After F-Spot Crashed (subsequent to DeVeDee and for unrelated reasons) I took Ubuntu 8.04 LTS off my hardware because I had to recover a lot from backups. It seemed that "stuff" frequently broke after system updates, probably my fault, but it was getting frustrating. I am glad I got separate, external disks that I started to use for backup reasons, but unfortunately i did not backup frequently enough, as I still lost some photos... I haven't tried since, as I was able to get my project done in Windoze Movie Maker. Sorry! After one or two uses of DeVeDe in the 8.10 version, no such bug...(yet) 2008/12/5 Daniel T Chen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04? > > ** Changed in: devede (Ubuntu) > Status: New => Incomplete > > -- > devede crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast() > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/208050 > You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber > of the bug. > > Status in "devede" source package in Ubuntu: Incomplete > > Bug description: > Binary package hint: devede > > I was converting an avi (300 mb) to mpeg (700 mb) and adding subtitles when > it crashes, first time I use devede in ubuntu 8.04 and first time it crashes. > I did't notice when it crash but I think it was to soon to be adding de > subtitles, so it crashed converting de avi. > > ProblemType: Crash > Architecture: i386 > Date: Thu Mar 27 21:30:50 2008 > DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 > ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/devede > InterpreterPath: /usr/bin/python2.5 > Package: devede 3.6-0.0ubuntu1 > PackageArchitecture: all > ProcCmdline: python /usr/bin/devede > ProcEnviron: > > PATH=/home/username/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games > LANG=es_CL.UTF-8 > SHELL=/bin/bash > Signal: 11 > SourcePackage: devede > StacktraceTop: > g_type_check_instance_cast () > ??
