[Bug 2060748] Re: iwlwifi error popping up every few minutes in Kubuntu 23.10 using Intel AX210 card
@Jess, Yes, that would be helpful if you can help to collect the dynamic debug log by the trace-cmd. There is no update for the iwlwifi firmware(-83) you are using now, but it might worth of trying to upgrade the firmware version to -84. You can download the latest firmware from the linux-firmware git tree[1], but please remember that only copy the files you need. That help us to narrow down the required firmware. In this case you probably only need iwlwifi-ty-a0-gf-a0-84.ucode, you can check your boot dmesg to see which firmware is loaded. You can upload the boot dmesg here if you are not sure which firmware you are using. 1. https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux- firmware.git/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2060748 Title: iwlwifi error popping up every few minutes in Kubuntu 23.10 using Intel AX210 card To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2060748/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 2061281] [NEW] Alt +esc doesn't change focus when an app is set "Always on Top"
Public bug reported: After I put Gnome Clock to always on top by `Alt`+`Space`,then whenever I did `Alt`+`Esc` , it changed the blue box from window to window but does not brought anyone of them to focus. For example, I opened Firefox through the shortcut, It brought it on second top(after clock) position but didn't change the focus till I deliberately click somewhere in the browser from mouse to bring it back to focus. Is this a normal behavior of Ubuntu, and if so how can I change it so that the shortcut would also change the focus to the window and not only bring it on the top. On some inspection and asking the community it was found that the bug is reproducible in Ubuntu gnome but not in fedora, so it seems like having some problem with this O.S. in particular. [Bug 2061288] [NEW] Multiple conflicting SSH agents and SSH_AUTH_SOCK not set after upgrade to noble
Public bug reported: After upgrading mantic to noble, there are multiple SSH agents who are independently trying to set SSH_AUTH_SOCK, none of which is successful. 1. ~/.config/autostart/gnome-keyring-ssh.desktop (identical to /etc/xdg/autostart/gnome-keyring-ssh.desktop, if not modified) This will start the regular GNOME Keyring SSH Agent. It will set the Agent location to /run/user/1000/ssh, while the Socket is initialised at /run/user/1000/.ssh 2. If that one is not running, the user unit ssh-agent.service kicks in. It sets the Socket to live at /run/user/1000/openssh_agent 3. Parallely, there is also a GPG agent emulating SSH support gpg-agent- ssh.socket Socket at /run/user/1000/gnupg/S.gpg-agent.ssh 4. There is also the (new?) user unit gcr-ssh-agent.socket It sets its Socket to live at /run/user/1000/gcr/ssh --- The last one seems to be preferred by GNOME upstream nowadays, but also comes with caveats, as its unit does not set the SSH_AUTH_SOCK variable. This commit from !137 (see below) does not seem to be included in /usr/lib/systemd/user/gcr-ssh-agent.socket - https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gcr/-/commit/b12cc639949c4b548d84625b292a2aff1faaf195 Apparently it's solved upstream with the gcr 4.2.1 release. [Bug 2060890] Re: autopkgtest fails with golang-github-coreos-go-systemd 22.5.0-1
This bug was fixed in the package runc - 1.1.12+ds1-2ubuntu1 --- runc (1.1.12+ds1-2ubuntu1) noble; urgency=medium * Merge with Debian unstable (LP: #2060890). [Bug 2060575] Re: gnome-keyring fails to automatically unlock login keyring after recent updates in noble
I can confirm the behaviour after a recent upgrade from mantic to noble and has also been reported in https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/noble-dev- branch-why-does-the-keyring-stay-locked-upon-login-also-why-did-apt- install-work-but-apt-upgrade-fail/43979 Another oddity is, that I seem to have to type the password twice into the second, non-overlay password prompt, which has me type my password four times for a complete login. This may also be connected to recent changes about how the ssh-agent is initialised, which may or may not involve problems with the Keyring or the new GCR. Its readme stays silent about it.) - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-keyring/+bug/2061288 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2060575 Title: gnome-keyring fails to automatically unlock login keyring after recent updates in noble To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-keyring/+bug/2060575/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 2056578] Re: Tor Browser - keyboard not functioning
I have found the real reason and fix for this issue! It seems that it is caused by no permissions for ~/.cache/ibus/dbus-* socket. I can mount cifs shares with kernel 6.5.0-27, but when copying files from the share to the same share the process is killed everytime. Same effect using bash "cp" or KDE kio copy via Krusader. [Bug 2061298] [NEW] Screen corruption in Firefox and Thunderbird when using Wayland
Public bug reported: After upgrading from Ubuntu 23.10 to 24.04, Firefox and Thunderbird both suffer from screen corruption when running with Wayland and virtual desktops. [Bug 1990876] Re: kworker high CPU usage: issue with xhci_hub_control from xhci_pci kernel module
I would like to know if anyone found a solution for lg gram systems. Currently i am using HW and os see below. kernel is from mainline archive Operating System: Linux Mint 21.3 Kernel: Linux 5.19.17-051917-generic Architecture: x86-64 Hardware Vendor: LG Electronics Hardware Model: 17Z90Q-G.AA78G This kernel works, when you start the system without AC plugged. suspend, plug AC, wakeup. boot param for kernel is acpi_mask_gpe=0x6E 0x6e can be unmasked immediately after boot. All newer kernels i tested have the problem with kworkers driving the load to 3 and more, rendering the system unusable when on ac. Without AC plugged they all work fine, with far better performance and energy saving as the 5.19 The kernelfunction hogging cpu is always something like os_map_remove. [Bug 2061281] Re: Alt +esc doesn't change focus when an app is set "Always on Top"
apport information ** Tags added: apport-collected third-party-packages wayland-session ** Description changed: After I put Gnome Clock to always on top by `Alt`+`Space`,then whenever I did `Alt`+`Esc` , it changed the blue box from window to window but does not brought anyone of them to focus. [Bug 2033388] Re: 'PlatformioCLI' object has no attribute 'resultcallback'
Newer versions of the "click" package have dropped get_terminal_size support. The latest version of platform io already imports it from shutil. The issue here is that the platformio package installed from the repositories is not compatible with the click version: platformio/noble,noble,now 4.3.4-3 python3-click/noble,noble,now 8.1.6-2 Click>=8.0 is only supported since platformio 5.2 according to the commit information. The right fix is to bump the platformio version from the repositories. Tested on Ubuntu 24.04 beta.
