[Bug 263580] [NEW] Upgrade kernel 2.6.24-18 to 2.6.24-19
Public bug reported: Among the proposed updates get the version 2.6.24-19 kernel. I try to install it but remains in use always my current 2.6.24-18. Not even editing the file /boot/grub/menu.lst solve the problem. I tried to remove it from synaptic and now I'm not even longer proposed as an upgrade available. [Bug 262976] [NEW] Not correctly handle the DNS ppp interface with GPRS connection
Public bug reported: If you make a GPRS connection via Wvdial, with network-manager installed, you can not access the Internet despite the connection is fully active. The problem is DNS, but not even making editable / etc / resolv.conf with the command sudo chattr + i / etc / resolv.conf you can solve the problem.
