[Bug 1223555] Re: OpenShot Crash at videospeed x5 / x10 / ...
To help narrow down the problem, please can you try speeding up your videos using ffmpeg melt: for ffmpeg, something like this: ffmpeg -i input.mkv -filter:v 'setpts=0.5*PTS' output.mkv for melt, I don't know the exact cmd line syntax to use, so create a simple project in OpenShot that has the problem. Then use the menu item FileExport XML to create an xml file that can be parsed by melt, such as: melt filename.xml By doing this, we can see if the problem is in ffmpeg, MLT or OpenShot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1223555 Title: OpenShot Crash at videospeed x5 / x10 / ... [Bug 758827] Re: Natty Beta 1 Live CD Freeze during boot
If anyone's paying attention, I finally got it to work by ripping out my Nvidia 9400 card and now use the integrated motherboard graphics. I didn't actually try it with Ubuntu in the end, but it works with Linux Mint OpenSuse. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/758827 Title: Natty Beta 1 Live CD Freeze during boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/758827/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 758827] [NEW] Natty Beta 1 Live CD Freeze during boot
Public bug reported: When booting from the CD, the whole system freezes and becomes unresponsive. Occasionally, it has made it as far as getting to the desktop, but it then freezes within a minute or so of doing so. The most common freeze point is the screen where you can select to Try Ubuntu or Install Ubuntu, but it has frozen at other points too. I've tried the noapic/nolapic options but the situation remains the same. Not sure what information I can provide to help debug the issue - memtest reports an Intel P45/G45 chipset, CPU is an Intel Q8200. The CD has been checked (Md5/checked for errors) without issue. As a bit of background, the last version of Ubuntu to work on this hardware is 9.10 - everything since then has resulted in the desktop freezing within a minute or two of starting. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/758827 Title: Natty Beta 1 Live CD Freeze during boot -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 620871] Re: Open Shot segfaults at launch
This is probably caused by using libcairo2 1.9.6-6~mrw4, from the ppa:matthaeus123/mrw-insane-build PPA. You need to downgrade back to the Ubuntu package version 1.8.10-2ubuntu1 of libcairo2. The reason for the segfault is that Openshot uses the python bindings for libcairo, the PPA does not include an updated version of the python bindings to match the updated libcairo version. ** Changed in: openshot (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- Open Shot segfaults at launch https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/620871 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
