[Bug 1876632] Re: [nvidia] Corrupted/missing shell textures when switching users or resuming from suspend
I tried to set both options mentioned on comment #11 and with X11 after resume I got corrupted lock screen and corrupted shell. I had to restart shell with alt+f2 and type r. Furthermore, I think this is the kind of problem the bug talks about. I have a laptop with an option on BIOS to always use the NVIDIA card instead of hybrid approach, so in some cases laptops will be affected too because they act as desktops in this aspect. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1876632 Title: [nvidia] Corrupted/missing shell textures when switching users or resuming from suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-shell/+bug/1876632/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1968929] Re: Missing Wayland login option on NVIDIA systems

[Bug 1968929] [NEW] No Wayland support on my NVIDA laptop
Public bug reported: I'm using Ubuntu 22.04 on a Dell G15 5511 laptop that have an NVIDIA 3060 GPU. I saw in the last update in the gdm3 package that Wayland will be disabled in machines with hybrid graphics. The question is: In this laptop I can enable optimus to use Intel and sometimes NVIDIA or keep only on NVIDIA (I use this option). So even it's detected two GPUs the Intel one is unused. I think the problem could extend for people with a desktop with an integrated intel GPU and a discrete NVIDIA GPU, since both will be present in the system. So maybe will be necessary to check with more accuracy to check if there are two GPUs, but only one is being used or have a documented option to force the enablement of Wayland. ** Affects: gdm3 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1968929 Title: No Wayland support on my NVIDA laptop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm3/+bug/1968929/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1964546] [NEW] 1Password doesn't integrate with Firefox Snap
Public bug reported: I use for sometime now 1Password for Linux on Ubuntu. 1Password integrates with the 1Password Firefox extension, but just when using Deb version. The most visible integration is to unlock via browser extension, which calls the desktop application to enter the password. The Firefox Snap doesn't have this integration yet, probably because the extension can't talk with the desktop application. The problem is in Jammy-proposed is forcing to adopt Firefox Snap version, but I want to keep using Firefox Deb version until this problem is fixed, so one of two ways: or we find a way to integrate 1Password desktop app with Firefox Snap or create a package alternative to people who want to keep using Firefox Deb for this or any other limitation of Firefox Snap. ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1964546 Title: 1Password doesn't integrate with Firefox Snap To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1964546/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1944468] Re: Electron applications all crash upon launch
@mwhudson Without your glibc the Electron apps I tested, 1Password and MS Teams, open up a blank screen. When I install your glibc than works as expected. About the Widevine I will look for another bug report or create one. With or without your glibc the Widevine crashes. The only way to avoid it is to execute Firefox from terminal so it gets the environment variable to stop using the sandbox. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1944468 Title: Electron applications all crash upon launch To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glibc/+bug/1944468/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1944468] Re: Electron applications all crash upon launch
I installed your glibc packages and 1Password start to work again. However I had problems with Widevine in Firefox (.deb package). It was crashing when I used GMP sandboxing. If I disabled temporarily the sandbox Netflix and other services worked again. Someone could test to see if it's a general bug related to glibc or I'm just the (not) lucky one? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1944468 Title: Electron applications all crash upon launch To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glibc/+bug/1944468/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1943853] Re: Recent update DELETED SNAP PROGRAMS
Yes, Maciej's action worked. Thanks, I will need to figure out some solutions to my personal security to not lose access to my accounts via authy again. But at least now out of immediate danger. I will keep watching this report for any clue as to the cause and prevention of this same situation. Happy to provide any more data per requests. I am not fluent in terminal but can get around.
