Development workshops at UDS
Hello everybody, if you’re in Copenhagen and you are interested in Ubuntu Development, you might be interested in the following two events: Be part of the Packaging Guide User Testing and the Get Started with Ubuntu Development workshops. For us it will be great to see how people use the Packaging Guide and what we need to fix. For you it will be great to have people around who are going to help you if you should get stuck. Also it will be a great time to catch up and get to know each other. Thanks a lot to Benjamin Drung and Stefano Rivera (and others) who are going to help with these events. http://summit.ubuntu.com/uds-r/meeting/21313/packaging-guide-user-testing/ http://summit.ubuntu.com/uds-r/meeting/21314/get-started-with-ubuntu-development/ Make sure you drop by. :-) Have a great day, Daniel -- Get involved in Ubuntu development! developer.ubuntu.com/packaging And follow @ubuntudev on identi.ca/twitter.com/facebook.com/gplus.to -- Ubuntu-motu mailing list Ubuntu-motu@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-motu

We'll be covering NIH, Upstart internals, development practises, testing, debugging, documentation and more. (Please note that this session is not about developing Upstart jobs, but on developing the init daemon itself). Hello Oussama, On 26.10.2012 10:51, Oussama Bounaim wrote: > Will those sessions be recorded, and posted some where after UDS. > Thank you. Some might. I can't yet tell, but we are also going to have https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/community-r-dev-videos this cycle. So even if the Ubuntu development workshop is not recorded, there should be videos this cycle.

Also, bring your questions or packages, and we'll see what we can do to help you with any issues you might be having. If you send me some questions in advance, I'll put them on the agenda.
