Sorry for much delayed response. Thanks James, Its resolved now, there were few permissions issues for different users on my machine. I'm not sure because I moved to Arch in the meantime, but I think I solved the problems by installing libapache2-mod-php5filter instead. how to mount a disk in Ubuntu Virtual Machine on Win7
Hello, The second HDD comes from a NAS which stopped working. FS on HDD is ext4. windows is not showing the disk, so i guess it has no control over it. I want to mount the disk on ubuntu VM running on this win7 machine and transfer data. this is what is visible right now... I thought (hoped) this stuff might help. I created a new Ubuntu 14.04 server on a spare partition with the daily 64 bit iso of 2014.03.01 I created a new guest VM 14.04 64 bit desktop with the daily iso of 2014.03.02. Same problem. I added the above mentioned PPA, upgraded etc. Same problem. I.E. Because things are broken anyhow, I can not create a baseline from which to say if the new stuff is better or not. ...
