[Bug 292869] [NEW] audio cd not recognized nor detected in ubuntustudio 8.04
You have been subscribed to a public bug: i was also told that others running 8.10 had this problem. When i insert an audio cd into ubuntustudio 8.04 it doesn't show up as an icon on my desktop, nor does it show up under Places-..Audio Cd...(error..- Could not open location 'cdda://scd0/'..There was an error launching the default action command associated with this location.) Nor could i open it with a music application such as Audacious. This is really disappointing as i desperately need to have this capability on my system.. i'm thinking about down grading to 7.10 until this issue can be resolved. ** Affects: ubuntustudio Importance: Undecided Status: New -- audio cd not recognized nor detected in ubuntustudio 8.04 https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/292869 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Studio-dev, which is the registrant for Ubuntu Studio. -- Ubuntu-Studio-devel mailing list Ubuntu-Studio-devel@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-devel
