Re: Translation status for Ubuntu Start Page

2009-04-16 Thread Marcos
Hi!!
Why must I defined my language? In Spanish and English works fine!
It's must predefined in the installation :(
I think we must put a bug in Launchpad (is it correct?). Thanks.

As far as I can tell, there is an index.html.ast file on
http://start.ubuntu.com/9.04/index.html.ast

Did you defined your language preferences in Firefox / Epiphany / your
browser?

For Firefox it should be
 Edit->Preferences , then "Content" , "Language" , "Choose"

Greek translation completed:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/JauntyJackalope/ReleaseNotes/el
(or at least most of it, there are some technical terms that we
couldn't translate thoroughly, and a paragraph was left in English)

Adi, thank you very much for your work. The start page looks perfectly
translated into Spanish. However, the Search button ("Buscar", in
Spanish) is still overlapping the right border. This is the opened
bugreport about this issue:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-start-page/+bug/348586

Cheers,

Ricardo.

Hi,
I have updated Jaunty just a few hours ago, and I can see that
ubuntu-start-page does not appears in Asturian language. The
translations were done on 25 April, so I don't understand why I can't
see the page in Asturian. Where is the problem? Can you help us?

Thanks

Working with the Spanish translation.

Finished for now, and looking to any update in the original English
release notes.
