Hi, I reviewed Telugu translation and found them to be of reasonable size. Having said that, text console support for Indian languages is not fully functional. It is better for the initial boot screen to use English. Rather than hoping, my advice would be to file a bug. I used that statement, as I do not know how much the final version will be different from beta. I am still a newbie withregard to ubuntu builds. I will file a bug if required after I verify the package list for dvd distribution.
