I bought a number of 701's. whilst I agree they are nifty little units, the actual build quality or finish is not as nice as the ones that are coming to the market now, such as Acer Aspire One and Dell Mini 9. The price difference isn't huge, and I would argue it's worth it, although each to their own :). I can't quite condone getting another ultra portable laptop as the 701's do the job, but I would like to replace with the newer ones. I love my eee, and so do my kids (8 11 yrs). http://www.flickr.com/photos/yish/2759817022/ this is from a cafe in Karon beach, Phuket. shortly after this shot I switched to Ububntu - slightly slower to startup, but more robust feels like a real computer. that said, I haven't tried the dell, so no basis for comaring. - Yishay -- ubuntu-uk@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/
