Hope this helps clear things up, Jan Schenkel. Try booting up your computer with the OS X installation CD in the drive. Hold down the C key while startup is taking place. Run the permissions fix feature in the drive tools. You will be able to find that in the menubar. This should fix you right up. You may need to run it 2-3 times to get it all cleared up. Thanks to Ken Ray,, Jan Schenkel and Alex Rice, I could download R-R 2.0 and my code was accepted all right. But when quitting I got a RR window saying: There was an errot saving your licensing key. Check file permissions. can't open stack backup file. How to get out of this mess? Note a can't open back up file dialog box began to appear yesterday using RR I.I.I, but only with the last version of one stack. But I was astonished, that there was no word about the final Version 2 on the RunRev lists. Yes, I'm quite astonished they've released a final 2.0 version, as I'm still having serious problems with printing and distribution building in RC1. I'll be curious to see if all the reported bugs, including my own, are gone from this final version.
