Re: [libreoffice-users] Boarders in calc
Hi >What do I need to do for LibO to accept the shortcut keys, please? An alternative is to ignore the LO settings and just use the native operating system special keys. These then apply to ALL apps, not just LO. If you are under Linux they are called the "Compose" sequences: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compose_key http://fsymbols.com/keyboard/linux/compose/ You specify a keyboard key to be your "compose" key (generally called the "Multi_key") (e.g., RightWin) and then press the sequences to get the desired character. e.g., é = The combinations are defined in /usr/share/X11/locale/en_US.UTF-8/Compose under openSUSE 11.4, YMMV. Here is an example of the definition: : "é" U00E9 # LATIN SMALL LETTER E WITH ACUTE Defining the Multi_key assignment can be a trick, but under openSUSE 11.4 it is easy: Menu > Configure Desktop > Input Devices > Keyboard > Advanced > Compose key position HTH, cheers, Andy -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: users+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

Hi Gary, I'm sorry, but I'm the wrong person to be able to answer your question. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you.
