This has been an ongoing problem on all of my machines, and it boils down to systemd itself. You can recompile systemd with DEFAULT_TIMEOUT_USEC defined as 10*USEC_PER_SEC in def.h, which will make it all a little bit easier. -- users mailing list users@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question? The threesome, LightDM 1.7.2, LightDM GTK+ Greeter 1.6.0 and Xfce 4.10 is troubleless, either on the physical or virtual machine, either as x86_64 or as i686 arch, either as multi-seat or as single-seat, either as multi-session or as single-session. :) poma -- users mailing list users@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question? For me, it is the external USB drive which has suspended itself and doing the umount waits for it to come alive again. It would be nice if the system would leave the drive utterly alone till I actually try to write to it so if it has been untouched during the whole time the system was up (a fairly frequent situation for me), it wouldn't have to wait. One of these days I need to poke around as see if the automounter stuff would allow me to just leave it unmounted till I try to touch it. That would have the same effect if it works. -- users mailing list users@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question? Analyzing system shutdown
Is there an equivalent of systemd-analyze for system shutdown processes. Something on a couple of my machines takes about 20 seconds to wind down, during a reboot or a shutdown, and I'd like to figure out what it is. pgp9jm9cJoDYu.pgp Description: PGP signature -- users mailing list users@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
