what type of storage are you using? did the vm have only 1 disk? was there anything you did before taking down the vm? (live migration, live snapshots?) Can you reproduce this or did it happen on only 1 vm? what storage are you using? Please attach the engine, vdsm, libvirt and qemu logs from the event. I also tried by extending the size while VM running. Had same issue. Its CentOS6.
