[SOGo] Disable Calendar and Address Book on the webmail interface
Hello, I'm using SOGO 2, latest RC. I'd like to disable the calendar and address book on the webmail interface. Is there an option on SOGo to do such a thing? Don't worry, I just want to disable these functions temporarily, until I make it works with Outlook clients. Thanks for your help ! Remi -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] Out Of Office Template
Hello, I'd like to add a template on the Out Of Office message. Then, people just have to enter date of their unavailability. Is there such a way to do that ? Regards, Remi -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] Export Calendars to ics format
Hello, this is my last question for the day ;) Today we are using phpIcal (http://phpicalendar.net/) to see calendars form co-workers. We are migrating to SOGo, but MS Outlook people won't have the shared calendars functionnality yet. So, I'd like to export SOGo Calendars to the phpICal server. How can I export SOGo people calendar in ICS format automatically? I can script it, using crontab co. Thanks for your help! Remi -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] Export Calendars to ics format
Hi, IMHO phpicalender allows to subscribe ics-calenders via URL. SOGo allows to get calenders by a URL like http//www.example.com/SOGo/dav/user/Calendar/personal.ics (just add the .ics-extension). Re: [SOGo] Using resources with SQL-based authentication
Thanks. We will try to put some resources in place for SQL based user sources, and I will let you know about the results. I have seen that, but it is not quite clear what is the difference between two mentioned kinds (location and thing). A group, location or thing is a resource for SOGo - just like it's/was stated in the Schema for representing resources for calendaring and scheduling services (http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-cal-resource-schema-06). When KindFieldName equals either of these for an entry (LDAP or SQL), SOGo considers it as a resource. Additionally confusing for me is a group kind. In LDAP, each group has to have a list of names, but how can we specify the users in one group if the user source is SQL? Once group defined, I guess, SOGo user could specify sharing permissions (ACLs) based on the group. This is something totally different. Groups are supported for LDAP (for scheduling meetings, ACLs, etc.) but not for SQL. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Is it possible to provide different email addresses with also different sender names per user? I already setup 'MailFieldNames' and this works so far - in the composing window I can select between different entries within the 'From:' combobox. The problem is they all use the same name (I think it's based on the c_cn value) as sender name. The online-demo of SOGo (http://sogo-demo.inverse.ca/SOGo/) shows that it's possible to do what I want - unfortunately I'm not sure about how it's implemented: - Is it a feature of the unstable (2.0.0) version of sogo? - Does it only work with LDAP usage/authentication? - Is it kind/part of a delegation feature? - Did I miss some configuration parm? The roadmap says something about 'Email identities support in the web mail interface' is this related to the above problem? http://www.sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=1158 seems to address this problem - unfortunately there's no reply so far. Really nobody has any hint for me? Best Regards -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

I just upgraded to 1.3.17 from 1.3.16. Now for whatever reason sogo can not find the sogo user therefor will not pull the config. No modification was done. When we set it up initially we only followed the instructions for a default install only changing the configs to work with our existing openldap, mysql, and IMAP servers. It is odd that it is looking in the wrong directory for the config. I even tried moving the config to that directory but then it errors out saying it can't write the lock file. Re: [SOGo] ANN: SOGo v1.3.17
Ok, just a test, makes no harm, I think: 1. add line into /etc/group like sogo:x:hightest_free_GID: (before replace 'hightest_free_GID' ;-) ) 2. add a line into /etc/passwd like sogo:x:986:hightest_free_GID::/srv/sogo:/bin/bash Test it again - does it run? Re: [SOGo] ANN: SOGo v1.3.17
PERFECT! I only had to change the /srv/sogo to the /home/sogo for my setup. Working again. Thank you!
