[Videolib] Recommended Faculty Media Development Labs
Our central IT folks have something like that called digital media lab. Here is a list of services/etc.: http://its.uiowa.edu/apps/services/service.aspx?id=34 It is only for people who are actively teaching--which at our institution could be a lot of people (but sadly, not me). Sarah Andrews Access Services Supervisor Hardin Library for the Health Sciences VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
