Did originator say how old the old phone was?

all the modern ones take the Nano simm, oldish ones took the Micro simm and
doubt anyone - anyone else at least - still has a mini

simm in use.
Modern supplied new simms come out of a credit card size plastic and each
size punches out of the one before, we do that with the

UK's gifgaf service.

Adopting a new simm to existing number is doable though with assistance or
tech centre maybe.
We've done this over the years as new devices demanded ever smaller simm
forms.

He should be able to reuse the old one.

I know there was discussion about this earlier but, at the time It was not
something I was interested in or had a need for. Now, my
son-in-law is planning to upgrade his old IPhone 6 to the new SE. Can he use
the card from the old phone or does he have to have a

new one?

Sorry for re-asking.

RE: New Simm cards

2020-05-20 Thread Richard Turner
He should ask his carrier.
Most of the time, yes, if the 6S used the Nano Sim card, it will work; but to
be sure, one should always check with your carrier.
