Re: A Fit Bit Flex Question

2014-08-28 Thread Cheryl Lenartiene
I haven't noticed too much of an impact on the phone either way, but turning
off all day sync does give me about 12 extra hours of battery life in the Flex.

Mark,

No, you can't. However, it does not seem to stay connected all the time,
especially if the app is not running in the background. I have not noticed any

Re: A Fit Bit Flex Question

2014-08-27 Thread Kawal Gucukoglu
I'm so glad that Mark brought up the Fitbit flex question. I have been using
mine for just over a week. I tried setting up alarms on the weebsite but I've
only had it working once. Any Ideas? Also Mark says that it's connected by
bluetooth, but it isn't as I didn't use bluetooth to connect, it connects
automatically when the fitbit app is open on your I phone, or does it really
connect via bluetooth but it is not showing up in the bluetooth devices? I know
you can connect via bluetooth if you use a computer without bluetooth as it has
a small bluetooth receiver in the box as someone explained to me what it was.
I'm just trying to find out the proper facts when it's connected to your I
phone.

Thank you.

Kawal.

You can always tap on Flex in the Fitbit app and turn All Day Sync to Off.

Hi Mark,

There is no way to turn it off. I haven't noted any quicker battery drop
though.

Good luck.

Subject: A Fit Bit Flex Question

Hello,

I'm getting ready to setup my Fit Bit Flex and I want to know, is there
anyway to turn the device off?

I mean, I don't want it using the Bluetooth radio all the time.

As far as I can tell, there is no on or off button.

Thank you,

Mark
