Strange audio in iDVD
Dear Wamuggers I have some year twelve students who have made a film using iMovie '09 Version 8 on new imacs. They have the movie as they want it and they have shared it to iDVD, all this works fine until we play back the DVD and we hear some bits of rogue sound that is not in the project when we view it in iMovie. Has anyone experienced this issue or has anybody got any ideas. The project gallery listing for the film has The little yellow Exclamation mark behind it but I unable to find out why. Can't read software DVDs
Hi All Plugged in a new software disc into my black MacBook the other day, there were some whirring noises before the disc was spat back out. Other attempts lead to the same result until I plugged a DVD movie in which promptly played. Then tried a different software disc that didn't read. :-( Any one familiar with this please? Iphoto books
Hi Folks Does anyone know whether it is possible to order iPhoto books through iphoto? Attempts have been SNAFUd at trying to put in Western Australia as a state or province on the order form. Can Books be ordered from outside the United States? If so, can anyone tell me how? Alternatively doe anyone know of someone other than Apple able to deal with iphoto books for printing? Hi folks have recently started to receive mail returned to me from recipients i don't know and containing information that I know nothing about. I am pretty sure the content of these is not on my G4, running 10.3.9. I have run anti virus with no success. Can any body give me the heads up on this? Recovering video from DVD
Hi list I have burnt a film my daughter made to DVD. Once burnt I promptly trashed the Imovie project as I needed the space. It turns out my daughter had not finished with the project,bugger!, and I now need to recover the Imovie project to either Imovie or Final Cut Pro. I have tried Data Rescue on my hardisk with no success. Is there some way I can convert the files on the DVD to a format that Imovie or Final Cut can manipulate? Regards John Carlson
Burning DVD's from iDVD Created Discs
At our school most of the students are burning their iMovie projects to DVD using iDVD. Once this is complete they are required to remove their project from the computer to free up space. Mostly we get the required number of copies at the time of the original burning and this works fine.Recently we have had the need to get more copies of some of the students' work but have been unable to copy from the iDVD created discs other than using Image Copy from Disk Utility, which allows playback only on computers. Lost favourites in IE
Dear list Since about the 1/4 I have lost all of my favourites, even Hotbar, in IE5. Even the ones I put back in disappear if I restart my Imac333. Could not download Virex 6 update as it would keep having an error. Eventually downloaded it through a thumb drive but the update did not find any viruses or trojans. Anybody got any ideas please? Brand new laptop for teachers Ibook that I dearly love. I have been trying to setup and connect to the internet from home via internal modem. Each time I try to connect the app. seems to only dial half the numbers and fails to make a connection. Any ideas please? jc
