Hi Ken, You are dragging from the top of the screen!!! As I mentioned before: Drag down the MIDDLE of any Home screen to reveal the search field. You can make the Text Size larger... you can also make the text bolder as well if you want to. To make the Text Size larger: Settings General Text Size - Drag the slider to your preferred reading size.
