Cheryl,
Thanks. I'd checked there but missed it. Yep, it's been turned on right
along. But I didn't get the message Perry left. Odd.

To check for javascript settings go to Edit, Preferences, Advanced.

FWIW in NN 4.x you must have javascript enabled or stylesheets will not
work. It uses javascript to interpret stylesheets.

Perry,
No, I didn't take lack of support for NN 4.7 as any sort of slight. One couldn't
spend much time here without knowing the perils for the developer trying to
support that browser. I actually brought it up because someone else mentioned a
message and I didn't get one. I thought I had JavaScript turned on, I'm pretty
sure I do... I went to NN help and clicked on the padlock icon to get to a box
that says I have not blocked certificates from anyone. Is this the same as
having your JS turned on? I cannot find JS in the help file anywhere. Again,
this is to try and figure out why I didn't get a message you so clearly left for
inept users like me.

I very much like that iframe (Opera), especially with the nice border you've put
around it.

Iframes were defined in the HTML 4 standard and continue to be in the XHTML
1 standard as well. While not the most definitive link you can see how
attributes are to be applied to Iframes at
http://www.w3.org/TR/2000/REC-xhtml1-2126/

XHTMLT 1.0: The Extensible HyperText Markup Language
A Reformulation of HTML 4 in XML 1.0
W3C Recommendation 26 January 2000

4.10 The elements with 'id' and 'name' attributes
HTML 4 defined the name attribute for the elements a, applet, form, frame,
iframe, img, and map. HTML 4 also introduced the id attribute. Both of these
attributes are designed to be used as fragment identifiers.

In XML, fragment identifiers are of type ID, and there can only be a single
attribute of type ID per element. Therefore, in XHTML 1.0 the id attribute
is defined to be of type ID. In order to ensure that XHTML 1.0 documents are
well-structured XML documents, XHTML 1.0 documents MUST use the id attribute
when defining fragment identifiers, even on elements that historically have
also had a name attribute. See the HTML Compatibility Guidelines for
information on ensuring such anchors are backwards compatible when serving
XHTML documents as media type text/html.

Note that in XHTML 1.0, the name attribute of these elements is formally
deprecated, and will be removed in a subsequent version of XHTML.

Only the use of 'name' instead of 'id' is depreciated.
