Re: [libreoffice-website] Re: download page broken?
Hello, What is the URL while the 404 Not Found error is displayed? I am not able to reproduce either. And to make sure: when you mean downloading to a windows machine you also actually have windows version of 4.2.0 selected? Yep. That was already tried and tested several times so these elements have to be collected for a later version of the site; this kind of input comes in late at this stage. > What are LibreOffice Fresh and Stable? LibreOffice Fresh -> newest branch LibreOffice Stabe -> older branch. Note that these are branches, not releases. So for instance, the 4.1.5 has been released after the 4.2, but it does not make it "Fresh", it makes it "stable" as it belongs to the older branch. > The BSA page > does not care about the right-menu it just goes on it. it is in an iframe, but I don't see anything wrong with it? [libreoffice-website] download page broken?
Hi, I was just trying to download LibO 4.2 from the German website to a 32 bit Windows 7 machine, and the download button yields a 404 not found error. I am on the run to a meeting, but Cloph, can you maybe have a look? Anyone else can confirm? Seems to be working fine from the international page, but not from the German one. Maybe other localized pages are affected as well. There are mentions of LibreOffice 4 which should be LibreOffice only without a version number, I assume. The Free Office suite section beneath that should link to Download and no to Join Us. The paragraph (beneath that) which has a background of faces should be rewritten because there are something which do not match. It could be done so that the drop down menus in the title bar open up when hovered on and not by a click. What are LibreOffice Fresh and Stable? The BSA page does not care about the right-menu it just goes on it. -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Website-Redesign-Beta-tp4093207p4097360.html Sent from the Website mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: website+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/website/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
Re: [libreoffice-website] LibreOffice Extensions-Site: Renovation

So if you can try to > explain that (with possibly a next update) : would be appreciated by me :) hmm. I worked on the structure of the repository and changed the hierarchy from five content types to three. The contributor has only to create a project for his extension and could then add a release for each version of his extension with the associated files (from one file to six files) with a tag about the platform. Currently the contributor had to choose a platform but I could investigate, if I could set a default value ('All') that he could change himself. I'll add a field for information about legal advise for download next. I forgot to do this yesterday. I'll work on the project page next days and will show a view of my draft. Once that is finished I'll work on the extensions-center view, the top level module. There I'll add fields for queries etc. In my opinion we need a link to the LibreOffice download on top of that page, a link to contribute a new extension (create a project) and links to some instructions (installation, contribution etc.) I hope that answers your questions and you get the big picture ;-) Regards, Andreas -- ## Developer LibreOffice ## Freie Office-Suite für Linux, Mac, Windows ## http://LibreOffice.org ## Support the Document Foundation (http://documentfoundation.org) ## Meine Seite: http://www.amantke.de -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: website+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/website/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
